Love on The Rebound: Forget what the 'so-called' experts tell you, rebounds can be a great way to regain self-esteem and recover quickly from a breakup.

Especially when you are not the one who chooses to end a relationship, all you really need could be a healthy old-fashioned reassurance of your greatness. When someone leaves you it really is not about you, it is about you in relation to your partner. You may just not be compatible, and while you were not seeing it yet, your partner did.

Every breakup hurts, and rolling around in your own misery for some undetermined period of time is really not going to help. A so-called "rebound" cannot only increase your self-esteem; it can also remind you life is fun. Going out with new people inevitably means you get an opportunity to have fun. Keep in mind though that sometimes, if you are too desperate for a rebound and you end up going out
Key thing to keep in mind is that you are out to have fun - not to replace your ex girl/boy friend. It is equally important to be up front with the person you are going out with. If it turns into a rebound, they have a right to know what is going on in your life, especially if they are looking for something you are not able to give at that time.

The important feature of a rebound that helps you recover quickly from a rebound is the fact that you are not focusing on negative things in life, instead you are experiencing positive things. By proceeding to focus on the good, and blocking out the bad, you could be surprised how fast you can move forward. This does not mean you did not love your ex, it doesn't mean you did not have something special. You should honor the memory of that relationship, and take something positive from it. You probably learned a lot about yourself and what you want, so for that the relationship was not in vane. However, just because you were in love with someone and now the relationship is over, does not mean you have to be miserable.

Go out, have fun but be honest! Be true to yourself and don't go out with people you would not be attracted to or have anything in common with. This will only make your break-up pain worse. Instead, choose to be around people that pick you up and make you smile!
